Mornings: 9:00AM - 11:30AM Afternoons: 12:30PM - 3:00PM
The Fives curriculum is developed around nine distinct units that incorporate on a daily basis an introduction to the varied skills necessary for complete kindergarten readiness. Through hands-on centers and imaginative play, each day includes math, science, social studies, language, art, and an interactive, instructional circle time. Several field trips enhance the curriculum. Our Bible curriculum is specifically designed for this age group; and through a chronological study of both Old and New Testament stories, the children learn true and applicable biblical precepts.
Daily Schedule
Centers (55 minutes) – Social, language, math, art, science
Art/Craft Activity (15 minutes)
Circle Time (15 minutes) – Interactive Activity, Calendar, Pledge, Weather, Story, Songs and Finger plays
Music/Creative Movement and/or Outdoor Time (30 minutes) – The children enjoy our spacious, fenced-in playground area as often as possible or play downstairs in our large recreation hall
Snack (15 minutes)
Bible Circle Time (15 minutes) – Bible story, songs, prayer time
Get ready for dismissal (5 minutes)
