Mornings: 9:00AM - 11:30AM Afternoons: 12:30PM - 3:00PM

young four year old preschool classThe Young Fours class stresses social and emotional development through role-play, games, and interaction with other children. An interactive circle time along with a variety of center activities are offered to encourage learning in all areas of development. The young four year old is introduced to the alphabet (upper and lower case) and number concepts. Sorting, lacing, cutting, and various arts and crafts are part of the preschool day. Integrated throughout the day is prayer and biblical truths that are learned through Bible stories and songs.

Daily Schedule

Welcome/Circle Time (25 minutes) – Interactive activity, discuss weather, story, songs, and finger plays

Centers (40 minutes) – Social, language, math, fine/gross motor, art, science

Music/Creative Movement (30 minutes)

Outdoor Time (15 minutes) – The children enjoy our spacious, fenced-in playground area as often as possible or play downstairs in our large recreation hall

Snack (15 minutes)

Bible Circle Time (20 minutes) – Bible story, songs, prayer time

Get ready for dismissal (5 minutes)
