Challengers
( Monday/Tuesday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday or )
Must turn 4 on or before 5/31
Sessions
9:00AM - 2:00PMExtend your child’s preschool day by enrolling them in our Challenger class. This kindergarten readiness class is a thematic, language-based program which will incorporate math, science, social studies and art through the beauty of children’s literature written by some of our favorite authors like Eric Carle, Jan Brett, Ezra Jack Keats, just to name a few. This class will also include most of the monthly study units from our five year old classes.
This class will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday or Monday, Tuesday, Friday to those children who will turn four years old by May 31st prior to the start of the school year. Your child will bring his/her lunch to school and eat lunch with their classmates. Their day will end at 2:00 p.m.
Thematic learning is optimal for early childhood. Children will make sense of their world and make higher level cognitive connections through thematic learning. Our world is all interconnected as part of God’s orderly plan.
Through this challenging program each student will be fully equipped for kindergarten success and will be more prepared to make connections in their everyday world.
