Sessions

Mornings: 9:00AM - 11:30AM

two year old preschool class Our youngest students are introduced to preschool in a safe and loving environment. Student to teacher ratio is 4:1. Language skills are developed through singing, story time and circle time. Cognitive activities include learning colors and shapes, counting, and sorting. Alphabet sounds are introduced with a new letter each week. Cognitive learning is accomplished through play, reading, singing, table and art activities. Encouraging the children to play with others develops their social skills.  Learning to share and communicate with other children is ongoing in our two-year-old classroom.  Children are encouraged to use their words to express their feelings and develop age-appropriate emotional control. Fine motor skills are developed through art, stacking blocks, puzzles, lacing, sorting and self-feeding. Gross motor skills are increased through classroom play and daily trips to the playground. If your child is potty training, our teachers will partner with you to maintain consistency for your child. God’s love for the children is shared through bible stories and prayer time at the end of each session.
