Playground FUNdraiser
The start of construction for the new educational building is getting closer with each day! In order to accommodate the new building the playground is being moved to another area. Many of you may have noticed that the fence around the playground has been taken down and reinstalled in the area where the new playground is going. However, right now this area is empty. We did not want to move our existing equipment to the new site as most of the equipment is over 20 years old and needs to be replaced in order to make a more safe and compliant play area for the children.
We have selected some new equipment that we believe the children will truly enjoy. The new playground will cost approximately $72,000. This cost includes the price of the equipment and installation. But we cannot build this new playground without your help. We are excited to kick-off our new playground FUNdraiser!
We are asking each family to contribute as they can. When we reach $2000 the children will have the opportunity to have a silly dress-up day! When $4000 is given this donation will be matched dollar for dollar! When we reach our goal of $20,000 we will have a Rita’s party for the whole school!
Outdoor play is an integral part in a child’s development both physically and emotionally. There are so many benefits to outdoor play including development of motor skills, problem-solving skills, teaches patience and sharing, and builds confidence.
